Who We Support

The votes are in........................this year C.H.A.N.C.E. will be supporting Water.org and St. Jude' Children's Research Hospital.

Water.org is a nonprofit organization whose founders have transformed hundreds of communities in Africa, South Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean by providing access to safe water and sanitation. Co-founded by Gary White and Matt Damon, Water.org works with local partners to deliver innovation solutions for long-term success. Its microfinance-based WaterCredit Initiative is pioneering sustainable giving in the sector.

The mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.

August is Over, but We did some Great Things :)

August Events:
09/24/11 - Freshman Orientation
Our booth was a big success! Many people came out to hear what we had to say and many of this year's members heard about us because of Freshman Orientation. :D

Nonprofit Voting...........Coming Soon :)

Every year, C.H.A.N.C.E. raises funds for other nonprofits in order to help them continue their good works. This year, we will be supporting one international and one national organization. These will be decided at our next meeting on 9/30/11. Please be sure to bring your ideas to the meeting or if you are not a student at GVHS but have a suggestion, please send us an email. Thank you!
